Jess Peterson is a competitive amateur kart racer who competed in SKUSA SuperNationals, a national multiclass championship where amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers share the track. Peterson raced across three classes, KF2, TaG Senior and S1 Pro Stock Moto, over a ten-year period from 2006 to 2016.[1]
Peterson made ten starts across that span, racing primarily against semi-professional regulars including Andre Nicastro, with whom Peterson was closely matched, and David Sera, who typically finished ahead. Peterson finished ahead of established professional drivers AJ Allmendinger, a NASCAR and IndyCar competitor with over 320 top-series starts, and Michael Valiante, the 2015 IMSA WeatherTech champion, in isolated meetings. Peterson raced for Giebler Racing during the SKUSA Pro Tour campaigns.[2]
