Johannes Nieman is a club-level driver racing in BMW CCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship where he campaigns BMWs across three classes in solo sprint racing. He has raced in the series since 2021 and competed intermittently in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance series with shared cars, between 2023 and 2025.[1]
Across six seasons Nieman has taken one win and 22 podiums from 62 starts. In BMW CCA Club Racing proper he has scored a win and 18 podiums from 53 entries since 2021. His involvement in American Endurance Racing, where he shared a car across nine starts in three seasons, yielded four podium finishes. In the current 2026 BMW CCA Club Racing season, still in progress, Nieman sits second in the championship standings with eight podiums from the 16 rounds run so far.[2]
In the fields he competes in regularly, Nieman typically finishes behind Job Nieman, a competitive amateur with whom he shares most of his racing, and runs closely matched with Matthew Noonan, another club driver in BMW CCA Club Racing. He has beaten drivers of higher standing; among them entry-level professionals including Evan Levine, who has 78 BMW CCA starts and 77 NASA entries, twice, and Jeff Segal, a Gold-graded entry-level professional and 2020 American Endurance Racing Class 3 champion, once.
