Jonathan Thonon competed in karting at the SKUSA SuperNationals, a ten-year span from 2007 to 2016 that produced five starts. He recorded one victory and two additional podium finishes across those appearances, an average finishing position of sixth. His Racer Rating of 2,804 places him in the competitive amateur bracket; this level describes the front of club racing and entry-level professional-amateur competition, drivers who are quick and genuinely competitive but typically racing outside the very top championships.[1]
Thonon's head-to-head record against his most frequent rivals showed strength against Gary Carlton, whom he finished ahead of three times in four shared races. Against Bas Lammers, a slightly stronger driver by rating, Thonon held a 2-1 advantage in three encounters. Notably, he secured individual victories over several substantially stronger competitors: he finished ahead of FIA Gold driver Norman Nato, FIA Silver driver Phil Giebler, and former multiple Lamborghini Super Trofeo champion Danny Formal, though these were isolated results rather than patterns of sustained competition at that level. His last recorded activity came in 2016.
