Joshua Hansen is a semi-professional racing driver competing in national multiclass motorsport in the United States and Europe. He races in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, where he drives spec Mazda MX-5s and Spec Racer Fords in solo sprint competition; he has recently joined Walkenhorst Motorsport for endurance racing at the Nürburgring, where he shares a GT4 car in the Nürburgring 24 Hours and a front-wheel-drive production car in the Langstrecken-Serie. His FIA Silver grade places him below the full-professional Platinum and Gold categories in endurance racing. His rating of 2,552 reflects semi-professional standing, the level of a driver competing regularly against established amateurs and developing professionals.[1]

Hansen has raced for six seasons from 2020 onwards, with 45 starts across SCCA National and Regional series and two rounds at the Nürburgring in 2025. His record in SCCA Majors spans four seasons from 2021 to 2024, where he took three wins and three podiums from 37 starts in Mazda and Spec Racer Ford classes. He completed three starts in the SCCA Runoffs in 2020 and 2021, raced twice in SCCA Regionals in 2022, and made his international debut in 2025 with two starts in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and one in the Nürburgring 24 Hours.[2]

In SCCA Majors he races a field including Danny Steyn, a four-time STL champion and regular SCCA Majors competitor, and Jim Drago, a frequent field member; Hansen typically finishes behind both. He has beaten established professional Matthew Payne, an FIA Gold graded driver with 99 Supercars Championship starts, on four occasions in SCCA Majors competition, and has one finish ahead of professional Aaron Jeansonne, an FIA Silver driver with Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup experience.
