Lutz Obermann is an entry-level professional racing in international and national multiclass endurance championships with shared-driver cars. He races for Holmgaard Motorsport and asBest Racing in the 24H Series, the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, piloting Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and GT3 machinery in the international series and turbocharged production-based cars in the German national events. He holds an FIA Bronze grade, the amateur classification in endurance racing.[1]
Obermann has raced across three seasons from 2024 to 2026, compiling a record of four podiums from ten starts. His sole victory came in the 24H Series, and he has taken two podiums at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. He has also started in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a 15-class German national endurance championship. His most recent race was the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours; in that event he has so far taken a podium finish.[2]
In multiclass fields mixing amateurs with graded professionals, Obermann has finished ahead of Ho-Pin Tung, a Gold-graded driver who won the 2018 WEC LMP2 championship and made 39 WEC starts.
