Nathan Dement is a club-level driver racing in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass competition in the United States. He competes in the SCCA Regionals and SCCA Majors championships, running spec Mazda MX-5 Miatas in the SM and SMX classes against a field mixing amateurs with graded professionals on the same track.[1]

In his first indexed season, 2026, Dement has made six starts across both series. He has two wins and two podiums from four Regionals rounds so far and currently sits third in the Regionals points as the season continues. His Majors campaign comprises two starts without a podium finish. He has beaten Jim Drago, a competitive amateur with 58 Majors starts, once, and has a two-race head-to-head against Quinten McPherson, a club-level driver with four Regionals starts.[2]

Dement races regularly against Tom Sager and Gordon Kuhnley, both competitive amateurs with substantial experience in these series; he typically finishes behind them. The field in which he competes includes drivers who have raced extensively in SCCA Majors and Regionals, representing the core of American amateur and semi-professional saloon racing.
