Preston Powell races in the Zenith Racing Series, a national multiclass endurance championship in which amateurs and professionals share the track in the same race. He drives a prototype in the ZP2 class for Powell Racing. This is his first indexed season, with five starts raced so far in 2026.[1]
Powell has taken one win and three podiums from five rounds. His most telling result came against Linus Lundqvist, an established professional and three-time champion at GB3, Formula Regional Americas and Indy NXT, whom Powell finished ahead of once. He also beat Patrick Wilmot, an IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge regular and FIA Silver-graded driver. In the regular field, Powell typically finishes ahead of Eric Rockwell and Alex Rockwell, both semi-professional drivers with extensive American Endurance Racing and IMSA Pilot Challenge experience.[2]
