Aaron Leichty is a club-level driver racing in national multiclass championships across the United States. He competes in solo sprint racing with NASA, where he has spent most of his career in production-based machinery, and in shared-driver endurance racing with American Endurance Racing and the Zenith Racing Series. His primary machinery has been the Mazda Miata.[1]
Leichty has raced for 17 years on record, from 2009 through 2026. In NASA he took five wins and eleven podiums across 22 starts in production classes; he scored one podium in two American Endurance Racing starts in 2018. His current season in the Zenith Racing Series has yielded one win and three podiums from three rounds so far.[2]
In NASA he regularly finished ahead of Michael Neuman, a two-time NASA PTE champion, and Robert Manouchehri. In his recent move to the Zenith Racing Series he has beaten entry-level professionals including Preston Powell, whom he has defeated twice, and Douglas Oakley. The field in both series mixes club drivers with graded professionals in the same races.
