Daniel Escobar is an entry-level professional racing in a national multiclass endurance series. He competes in the Zenith Racing Series for Powell Racing, sharing a prototype in the ZP2 class and production-based machinery in the ZR4 class with teammates during races. His first indexed season began in 2026.[1]
Through six rounds so far this season, Escobar has taken one win and four podiums, placing him second in the championship standings. He has finished ahead of Linus Lundqvist, an established professional and FIA Gold driver who won GB3, Formula Regional Americas and Indy NXT; Escobar also beat him on one occasion. He runs closely matched against the semi-professional regulars Eric Rockwell and Alex Rockwell, both of whom have raced extensively in American Endurance Racing and IMSA Pilot Challenge.[2]
