Roland Berville is an entry-level professional who raced single-seater and multiclass endurance cars across a career spanning five indexed seasons from 2005 to 2021. He drove for Martinet by Alméras in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, a single-class championship of Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars raced solo, and also competed in shared-car endurance racing in the FIA GT Championship and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie.[1]
Berville's record across ten starts yielded one podium, which came in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2011. His most sustained campaign was the 2021 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, where he finished 18th in the championship standings over four rounds. In the Supercup he regularly faced Larry ten Voorde and Ayhancan Guven, both established professionals and multiple champions of the series, and finished behind them consistently.[2]
Berville shared a grid with established professionals including Marc Lieb, a WEC and FIA GT Championship regular with 35 starts in the latter series, and Thomas Biagi, a two-time FIA GT Champion; he finished ahead of both on single occasions.
