Rowan Gill is a club-level driver who raced in American single-seater and karting championships between 2019 and 2023. He competed in the SCCA Majors SM class, driving a spec Mazda MX-5 Miata, and made starts in the SKUSA SuperNationals in the KA100 Junior and X30 Junior karting classes and the SCCA Runoffs. His career totalled 15 starts across four seasons.[1]
Gill's record in the SCCA Majors came primarily in 2022 and 2023, with twelve starts in the SM class. His most recent racing was at the 2021 SKUSA SuperNationals. In both settings he raced against fields mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with established professionals. His two highest-profile results came against drivers who would go on to establish themselves at a higher level: he finished ahead of Connor Zilisch, now an established professional, ARCA Menards East champion and NASCAR Xfinity regular, once across their meetings; and he beat Max Taylor, a professional who has since raced Indy NXT and the USF ladder, once as well.[2]
In his regular competition Gill typically finished behind Nick Leverone, a competitive amateur who became 2025 SCCA Majors STL champion after accumulating over 150 SCCA Majors starts, and Thomas Annunziata, a professional with experience in Trans-Am and the ARCA Menards Series. Those results against the body of drivers he encountered most often place him solidly in the amateur field.
