Russell Farhang is a competitive amateur racing in national multiclass championships. He campaigns Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and GT3 R machinery in International GT, a six-class series run entirely in the United States, and Porsches in PCA Club Racing, a sixteen-class national series; both fields mix amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals on the same grid. Farhang has been racing for three seasons since 2024.[1]

Across International GT and PCA Club Racing, Farhang has taken five wins and fifteen podiums from twenty-two starts. In International GT he has won twice and taken ten podiums from twelve races across two seasons. His most recent campaign, a full season of PCA Club Racing in 2025, yielded one win and three podiums from eight rounds; he finished third in the championship standings. Farhang has been most active in PCA Club Racing, where he holds three wins from ten starts across two seasons.[2]

In the fields he races, Farhang typically finishes behind semi-professional regular John Goetz, who has over a hundred PCA Club Racing starts to draw on, but runs closely matched against fellow competitive amateur Joseph G Viola, another PCA Club Racing regular. He has beaten an entry-level professional, 2021 Trans-Am XGT champion Erich Joiner, once in International GT, and semi-professional Bruno Carneiro, who has raced both series, in a single meeting. Farhang sits mid-pack in a grid that ranges from amateurs to graded professionals, with his record concentrated in Porsche racing at the national level.
