Sam Urus is a developing driver competing in single-seater racing at the entry level. His Racer Rating of 2,874 places him in the developing band, meaning he is still building experience in competitive environments and has not yet established a consistent pattern of results against established opposition.[1]

Urus completed his first season of racing in 2026 with three starts in the Spanish F4 Championship for DXR, recording no wins or podiums and averaging a finishing position of 23rd. He was outpaced throughout the season by a strong field of rivals, finishing behind professional and semi-professional drivers across all three races. His head-to-head record against his most frequent competitors was uniformly negative; he finished behind Nathaniel Tye, Noah Monteiro, Rocco Coronel, Ty Fisher and Aleix Piñera in all three shared races. Jensen Burnett was the sole exception to this pattern, with Urus beating him once in their three encounters. He also recorded isolated victories over Philippe Karras, Nacho Tuñon and Simon Bulbarella, each by a single finish, though these do not constitute evidence of a competitive advantage. DXR, the team fielding Urus, has not recorded race wins in the index and operates among lower-tier competitors.

Urus remains active in racing as of 2026 and is at a stage where early development and accumulation of race experience are the primary focus.
