Scott Deffebach is a club-level driver racing in national amateur-to-professional multiclass championships in the United States. He competes primarily in NASA and SCCA Majors, piloting a spec Mazda MX-5 Miata in single-driver sprint racing across both series; he has logged 63 starts since 2018 and remains active.[1]

His record across NASA, SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals shows three podiums from 63 starts. In NASA's Spec Miata class, where he has concentrated most of his 53 starts, he has finished on the podium twice. His SCCA Majors campaign, begun in 2021, has yielded one podium from eight starts. Most recently, in 2022 SCCA Regionals, he completed two rounds and finished 106th in the championship standings.[2]

Against his regular field, Deffebach typically finishes behind established club and competitive amateur drivers such as Phillip McCammon and Vinnie Baratta. He has finished ahead of Connor Zilisch, an established professional and FIA Gold-graded driver with extensive NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series experience, once; he has also beaten Shehan Chandrasoma, the 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA Am champion, three times across their meetings in NASA.
