Trevor McCallion is a competitive amateur who races solo in multiclass sprint championships across the American motorsport calendar. He has spent twenty seasons in NASA, the larger of his two series, where he drives Mazda Miatas in spec, production and pony car classes among fields mixing amateurs and graded professionals. He also competes in SCCA Majors spec Miata racing. His primary machinery across 133 starts has been the Mazda Miata.[1]
McCallion has taken 29 wins and 81 podiums across 215 starts since 2006. He won the NASA championship in 2008 and has remained active in the series through 2026, accumulating 26 wins and 78 podiums there. He added three wins from thirteen SCCA Majors starts between 2021 and 2026. His 2026 SCCA Majors campaign is still in progress with two rounds raced so far; he currently sits 55th in the championship standings.[2]
The fields McCallion races in include established professionals and former champions. He has beaten Gar Robinson, a Silver-graded driver and 2021 and 2023 IMSA WeatherTech LMP3 champion, three times, and the professional Alec Udell four times. Against his regular opponents, he usually finishes ahead of fellow developing driver Kevin Pyles and runs closely matched with club-level Brett Gabriel. McCallion has finished on podium at multiple NASA venues through 2026, including appearances in recent coverage of races at Hallett, Eagles Canyon and MSR Cresson.
