Toby Linder is a club-level driver competing in American national multiclass motorsport, primarily in spec Mazda MX-5 racing. He has spent fourteen seasons in NASA and SCCA championships, driving Miatas in both Spec Miata and SM classes across 128 starts since 2010. He currently competes in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals.[1]
Linder's record spans a long tenure in NASA from 2010 to 2018, where he accumulated 100 starts and one podium finish across the Spec Miata classes. He returned to indexed racing in 2021 with SCCA Majors, taking 26 starts there, and added two SCCA Regionals entries in 2022. His single podium came during his NASA years. He finished 92nd in the 2022 SCCA Regionals championship standings.[2]
His regular opponents in this series compete at similar levels; he typically finishes behind Trevor McCallion, a competitive amateur who has raced NASA extensively, and Brett Gabriel, another club-level driver with parallel NASA and SCCA experience.
