Griffioen made seven starts over three seasons and scored one podium finish. He finished eighteenth in the 2012 championship standings, his final season of racing on record.[2]
His regular opponents in the series included Daniel Zils, a multiple V5 champion and Bronze-graded professional who would go on to win titles across five further seasons, and Werner Gusenbauer, a competitive amateur with seventy starts in the same championship. Griffioen typically finished behind both. He beat the professional Csaba Walter and the competitive amateur Nils Reimer once each.
