Steve Boley was a professional racing driver who competed in NASCAR Xfinity, a national single-class oval championship mixing amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers. He made six starts for Key Motorsports between 1992 and 1995, finishing 42nd in the 1995 championship standings after two races that season.[1]
Boley typically finished behind the regular opponents he met most often, including Kenny Wallace, the 1994 NASCAR Xfinity champion, and Bobby Dotter. He twice finished ahead of Jeff Gordon, an established professional and FIA Gold-graded driver who would go on to become one of the most prominent names in motorsport, and beat Ward Burton, a professional with 161 NASCAR Xfinity starts, on two occasions as well.[2]
