Jean-Pierre Valentini was a professional endurance racing driver competing in the 24H Series, a multiclass GT3 championship held across 13 countries in which amateur and professional drivers shared cars in relay racing. He raced for GPX Racing and GP Extreme between 2017 and 2019, taking the wheel in six rounds of the series' A6-AM and A6-PRO classes.[1]
Valentini took two podium finishes across his three seasons, finishing fifth in the 24H Series standings in 2019. His record placed him as a mid-field competitor within fields that included established professionals with extensive international racing experience. He finished ahead of Luca Stolz, an FIA Platinum-graded driver with extensive GT World Challenge and DTM experience, on one occasion, and matched that level once against Matteo Malucelli, a two-time 24H Series A6-PRO champion and FIA Gold-graded driver with World Endurance Championship starts. Most often Valentini found himself behind both Malucelli and fellow 24H Series champion Jiri Pisarik, the regulars who set the pace in the series.[2]
