🇫🇮 Patrick Kujala

Patrick Kujala is an entry-level professional driver racing in international GT and endurance championships. He races for Barwell Motorsport in GT World Challenge Europe, where he has made 28 starts since 2019, and competes across a range of multiclass and single-class series in shared-car and solo formats. Graded FIA Gold, he sits among the full-professional ranks within endurance racing.[1]

Kujala has contested 13 seasons of racing from 2012 onwards, accumulating 117 starts and five wins across nine series. He began in single-seaters, racing Formula Renault Eurocup in 2012 and GP3 Series from 2013 to 2014 for Trident, where he shared a grid with drivers who would reach elite levels; he finished ahead of Pierre Gasly, then a Formula Renault Eurocup competitor, in three meetings, and ahead of Oliver Rowland twice. His career shifted toward GT and endurance racing from 2016. He won the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo in 2016 and has since taken wins in the 24H Series, British GT Championship, Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA, and Le Mans Cup. In British GT, he claimed four podiums across 12 starts and secured the class win. Most recently he has been active in IMSA competition, running in Prototype Challenge and the AirBNB Endurance Challenge for Forte Racing in 2026.[2]

In his regular GT World Challenge Europe field, Kujala typically finishes behind Patric Niederhauser, an established professional graded Platinum, though he regularly matches Alex Fontana, another Gold-graded entry-level professional who shares much of his endurance racing schedule. His record spans multiclass grids mixing amateurs with graded professionals and includes wins against field-wide competition in 24-hour and longer endurance races, a format in which shared driving means a single driver's contribution sits within a wider crew performance.
