Steve Welk is an entry-level professional competing in solo sprint racing across national championships. He holds an FIA Bronze grade, the amateur classification in endurance and sportscar racing. His indexed record spans two seasons and two starts, most recently in the SVRA's Group 2 class.[1]
His first indexed start came in 2007 in the Star Mazda Championship for John Walko Racing. He has returned to racing in 2026, competing in SVRA and currently running 23rd in the championship standings with rounds still to be contested.[2]
