Will Holtz is a semi-professional racing formula cars in national single-class and multiclass championships in the United States. His indexed career spans three seasons from 2019 to 2021, running 21 starts across US F4, the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series and the SCCA Runoffs.[1]
Holtz took one win in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series in 2019 alongside a second podium that year, then moved to US F4 in 2020 with 18 starts and finished 20th in the championship. A single start at the SCCA Runoffs in 2021 yielded a podium finish. Across his career he won once, took two podiums and did not contest a full calendar in any series.[2]
His most frequent opponents in US F4 were competitors at the entry-level professional and competitive amateur grades. Holtz regularly finished ahead of Robert Torres, a competitive amateur regular in the series, but usually finished behind Spike Kohlbecker, an entry-level professional. He also finished ahead of Kyffin Simpson, an established professional and FIA Gold-graded driver who won the 2021 Formula Regional Americas championship, twice across their meetings, and ahead of Nolan Siegel, another established professional with an IndyCar record, in a single race.
