Taylor van Overbeek is a competitive amateur racing in national multiclass sprint and endurance championships in the United States. In sprint racing, he competes in SCCA Regionals across multiple Mazda-based classes and NASA's Spec Miata class, driving solo. He also races in Porsche Endurance Challenge North America, sharing a car in the Cay Pro-Am class for team CHR.[1]

Across his indexed career, which spans two seasons from 2025 to 2026, van Overbeek has taken one win and five podiums from 18 starts. His breakthrough came in SCCA Regionals, where he scored a win and three podiums across ten starts in 2025 and finished 49th in the championship standings. He made his endurance racing debut in 2026 with two starts in Porsche Endurance Challenge North America, recording two podiums in that brief campaign.[2]

Van Overbeek races against entry-level professionals and fellow competitive amateurs in multiclass fields that mix graded and amateur competitors. He typically finishes behind regular rivals Casey Moyer, an FIA Silver graded professional with extensive experience in both SCCA Regionals and NASA, and Curtis Zhi, a competitive amateur with twenty-five SCCA Regionals starts to his name. He has finished ahead of Moyer four times and of Yves Baltas, an entry-level professional with credentials in Porsche Carrera Cup and GT4 America, once.
