Xen De Ruwe is a competitive amateur driver, rated 2,580; this level describes the front of club racing, quick drivers usually racing on modest budgets against a mix of competitive amateurs and entry-level professionals. De Ruwe's only recorded single-seater campaign came in 2013, when he contested two rounds of the SKUSA SuperNationals without securing a podium finish. He averaged seventh place in classified starts, a respectable result in fields that included established professionals; he finished ahead of Carlos Munoz, Sebastien Bourdais (FIA Platinum graded), Cameron Hill (FIA Gold graded), and Jan Charouz on single occasions, though such isolated results do not establish a pattern of outperforming stronger competition.[1]
