Xiaole He was a semi-professional driver racing in national multiclass endurance championships at the Nürburgring. Graded FIA Silver, he competed for Hyundai NMotosport in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, driving TCR touring cars and modified production-based race cars in shared-driver endurance races alongside amateurs and graded professionals.[1]
He made five indexed starts across two seasons from 2018 to 2024, taking two podium finishes. His main activity came in the 2024 Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he finished on the podium in a TCR-class Hyundai Elantra N. In the longer Langstrecken-Serie championship he started four times over six years, securing a single podium.[2]
He raced regularly against Mikel Azcona, the 2022 FIA World Touring Car Cup champion and a professional Gold-graded driver with extensive World Touring Car and Porsche Supercup experience, and against Marc Basseng, a Silver-graded professional and 2011 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie champion. He finished behind both drivers in most meetings. He outran Ross Gunn, an established Platinum-graded professional with 63 IMSA WeatherTech starts, and beat Christian Klien twice; Klien, also Platinum-graded, had raced 51 Formula 1 grands prix.
