Historic Sportscar Racing is a sprint series fielding prototype and GT machinery in separate classes. The prototype class draws the stronger field; its roster includes the professional driver Zak Brown alongside competitive amateurs. Overall the series runs club-level talent, materially weaker than its peer nurseries PCA Club Racing and NASA and considerably below the established professional standard of International GT, which supplies occasional arrivals. Most of its drivers come from club and regional racing or step up from International GT, placing it as a stepping stone between pure club racing and more competitive sportscar fields. The series is currently active.
