Tom Long is a semi-professional racing driver competing across multiple national series in the United States. Graded FIA Gold, he races primarily in NASA, where he drives a Chevrolet Camaro and has taken the majority of his wins and podiums across a 43-start tenure since 2020. He has also been active in IMSA's national championships, competing in the WeatherTech and Pilot Challenge series as well as the single-driver Historic Sportscar Racing championship.[1]

Long won the 2018 IMSA Pilot Challenge with Compass Racing and has accumulated 13 wins across 132 career starts since 2002. His record in NASA spans five seasons with 5 wins and 20 podiums; in IMSA Pilot Challenge he took 3 wins and 8 podiums over seven seasons, while International GT racing since 2022 has yielded 4 wins and 10 podiums from 14 starts. A brief foray into Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America in 2022 produced 1 win and 8 podiums in 10 races. His single outing in IMSA WeatherTech, the sport's top national endurance series, yielded one podium from 34 starts across nine seasons.[2]

Long typically finishes ahead of developing-level regulars in his NASA competition, including Marshall Moore across multiple seasons. Against established professionals he races more often behind than ahead; Jordan Taylor, a Platinum-graded multiple-series champion with extensive WeatherTech experience, is a regular opponent who usually outfinishes him. He has beaten Chase Briscoe, an elite professional and former ARCA champion with extensive NASCAR touring-car experience, and Sébastien Buemi, an established professional and five-time WEC champion with 55 Formula 1 starts, though these victories came as single instances rather than patterns. His 2026 campaign in World Racing League has begun with one podium from two rounds so far.
