Jordan Taylor is an established professional racing in IMSA WeatherTech, a multiclass endurance championship where prototypes and GT cars share the track and drivers rotate through races. He drives the No. 40 Cadillac V-Series.R for Wayne Taylor Racing. Taylor holds the FIA Platinum grade, the highest classification in sportscar racing. His career on record spans 15 seasons from 2012 to 2026, with 140 starts across IMSA, the World Endurance Championship, and brief NASCAR outings.[1]

Taylor has won four IMSA WeatherTech championships; the first came in 2016 in the DPi class, followed by a second in 2017, then another two in 2020 and 2021 driving for Corvette Racing in the GTE ranks. He has taken 26 wins and 59 podiums in IMSA WeatherTech alone from 124 starts. He also won once in 12 WEC starts. His current 2026 season with Wayne Taylor Racing is still in progress; he sits 19th in the championship standings across the rounds raced to date.[2]

Taylor races regularly against other Platinum-graded established professionals. He is closely matched with Dane Cameron, a champion in three separate IMSA classes, and with Nick Tandy, both of whom have raced extensively in IMSA and the WEC. Taylor has finished ahead of Christopher Bell, the 2024 NASCAR Cup champion, and once beat Alex Palou, a five-time IndyCar champion, in their sole meeting. Corvette Racing, his most frequent employer with 49 of his starts, fields established professionals and has won 60 races in this index.
