Taylor Gray is an established professional competing full-time in NASCAR Xfinity for Joe Gibbs Racing, piloting the No. 54 Toyota GR Supra, and part-time in NASCAR Truck for Tricon Garage. He has raced primarily on oval circuits across seven seasons since 2020, compiling 204 starts across five national series in single-driver stock car racing that fields a mix of amateur, semi-professional and professional competitors.[1]

Gray has taken 11 wins and 43 podiums across his career. In ARCA Menards West, a road racing calendar, he was dominant in 13 starts with five wins and seven podiums between 2020 and 2022. His primary development came through ARCA Menards oval racing, where he scored three wins and 13 podiums in 40 starts for Dead On Tools. He progressed to NASCAR Truck in 2021 and has run 57 starts there alongside his ARCA work and early NASCAR Xfinity campaigns; in Xfinity, where he has concentrated his efforts from 2024 onward, he holds 2 wins and 8 podiums from 74 starts. Most recently he competed in three Trans-Am TA2 road racing events in 2023.[2]

His regular opponents include Nick Sanchez, the 2022 ARCA Menards champion, with whom Gray is closely matched; Jesse Love, an established professional and twice ARCA Menards West champion who also won the 2023 ARCA Menards Series and 2025 NASCAR Xfinity; and drivers of the calibre of Christopher Bell and Ty Gibbs, both elite professionals, whom he has beaten on three occasions each.
