Christian Eckes is an American stock car racing driver who has built his career primarily in the NASCAR Truck Series. Before reaching that level full-time, he came up through regional and national short track competition, winning the prestigious Snowball Derby in 2016 and later capturing the 2019 ARCA Menards Series championship. He also spent time as a development driver for JR Motorsports and Toyota, and made appearances in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series West, experience that helped establish him as a recognized name in the sport's development pipeline before he settled into full-time Truck Series competition.[1]
In the Truck Series, Eckes has amassed 161 career starts, with 9 wins and 36 podium finishes, though he has yet to secure a series championship. His 2026 season saw him finish 12th in the standings across 33 rounds, adding 2 podiums without a win. Currently carrying a Racer Rating of 4,086, placing him 506th among active drivers on that scale, Eckes remains an active competitor in the series, continuing to add to a resume built on steady, if not yet championship-level, results at NASCAR's national touring level.[2]
