Alberto Guarini is a competitive amateur who raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship in which cars are shared between drivers across a season of long-distance races. He competed for Pixum Team Adrenalin Motorsport, driving BMW machinery in the Cup 5 and V5 classes between 2013 and 2016. Guarini finished 23rd in the 2016 championship standings, his final season of active racing. Throughout his time in the series he typically finished behind regular competitors Christian Konnerth, a professional who went on to win the V5 class championship in both 2017 and 2018, and Norbert Fischer, an entry-level professional and three-time V5 champion. Guarini beat the entry-level professional Alex Lambertz once and Oskar Sandberg, who later became a V5 champion, once across his six starts.[2]
