Alex Guenette is a professional stock car racing driver competing part-time in the NASCAR Canada Series for JASS Racing with XEMIS Racing, driving the No. 39. He has spent eleven seasons racing in North American stock car championships, with most of his starts concentrated in the NASCAR Canada Series since 2019.[1]
Across 66 career starts in national-level single-seater stock car racing, Guenette has taken one win and nine podiums. That win came in the NASCAR Canada Series, where he has logged 53 starts and nine podiums across eight seasons. He has made limited appearances in NASCAR Xfinity and the NASCAR Truck Series, with three Truck starts in 2013 and 2014 and eight Xfinity starts spanning 2016 to 2026, split primarily between oval and road-course racing. A single start in the ARCA Menards Series in 2014 and one in the SKUSA SuperNationals in 2010 complete his record.[2]
In the NASCAR Canada Series, where he has spent most of his career, Guenette races regularly against established professionals and multiple series champions. He has finished closely matched with Marc-Antoine Camirand, a two-time NASCAR Canada Series champion, and Andrew Ranger, another two-time series champion. He has also finished ahead of established professionals including Ryan Preece and Sheldon Creed, the latter a 2018 ARCA Menards Series champion with extensive experience in Xfinity and the Truck Series.
