Dexter Stacey is an entry-level professional stock car driver competing part-time in the NASCAR Canada Series for Ed Hakonson Racing and DJK Racing, driving Chevrolet and Dodge entries. His career spans 12 seasons from 2012 onwards, primarily in North American oval racing across the NASCAR Canada Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Truck Series; he rated 2,998 on the Elo scale.[1]

Across 85 career starts, Stacey has taken two podiums, both in the NASCAR Canada Series where he has made 55 starts since 2019 with Cloud V and Bully's Truck Stop. His NASCAR Xfinity work totalled 27 starts between 2012 and 2023, with the bulk contested on oval tracks; he also ran two NASCAR Truck races in 2015 and one ARCA Menards start in 2013. His most recent activity came in 2023 Xfinity competition, where he ran two rounds and finished 35th in the championship standings.[2]

In the NASCAR Canada Series, Stacey races regularly against professionals including Kevin Lacroix and two-time champion L.P. Dumoulin, drivers with over 100 starts in that series each; he typically finishes behind them. He has finished ahead of Christopher Bell, who won the 2017 NASCAR Truck championship and has since made 263 NASCAR Cup starts and 81 Xfinity starts, once in their head-to-head meetings, and ahead of Kyle Larson, a two-time NASCAR Cup champion with 310 Cup starts and 125 Xfinity starts, twice across their races together.
