Gil Molina is a semi-professional racing driver who competed in US F4, a national single-seater championship run across the United States. His only indexed season came in 2020, when he started nine rounds.[1]
Molina finished 18th in the 2020 US F4 championship. The field mixed amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals. He regularly raced against established professional Kyffin Simpson, a 2021 Formula Regional Americas champion with extensive experience in IndyCar, Formula Regional Americas and Indy NXT, and finished ahead of Simpson four times across the season. He was closely matched with fellow semi-professional Bijoy Garg, a professional-graded driver who would later win the 2023 IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge P3 title.[2]
