Bill Whitehouse was a British racing driver who competed in Formula 1 during the 1954 season. He made a single Grand Prix start for Connaught, finishing 27th in the race and scoring no points. His sole appearance came at a time when the grid was populated by established professionals and works drivers, and his result placed him outside the competitive frame of that event.[1]
Whitehouse's racing career on record consists entirely of that one Formula 1 outing. Connaught, the team for which he drove, was an independent British constructor that fielded a roster of drivers during its racing life but produced no race wins in the series. The team's strongest driver was Stirling Moss, who operated at an entirely different level of the professional ranks. Whitehouse's brief involvement with the sport ended after 1954 and he subsequently retired from racing.[2]
