Bob Herber is a retired entry-level professional endurance driver who raced in the 24H Series and Road to Le Mans between 2017 and 2024. An FIA Bronze-graded driver, he competed in multiclass grids where amateur and semi-professional entrants shared track space with graded professionals. He drove Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars in the 24H Series for NKPP Racing by Bas Koeten Racing, an established team that fielded multiple drivers across the index.[1]
Over eight seasons and 19 starts, Herber scored two wins and four podiums, all of them in the 24H Series. His record came almost entirely through the 24H Series, where he made 17 starts between 2017 and 2024; a brief campaign in Road to Le Mans in 2019 yielded no points. The two wins and the podium finishes compressed into the 24H Series races show him capable of strong performances in the longer format, though consistency across the full calendar was not sustained.[2]
Herber typically finished behind regular competitors such as Yannick Redant and Ayrton Redant, both entry-level professionals who won the 2024 24H Series 992 championship. He finished ahead of Larry ten Voorde, an established Gold-graded professional and three-time Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup champion, and of Sergey Sirotkin, a Platinum-graded driver with 21 Formula 1 starts and 37 GP2 races.
