Cody Jolly is a semi-professional driver who raced in single-seater machinery over two seasons in 2007 and 2008. His rating of 3,104 places him at the semi-professional level, meaning he competed among full-time professionals but did not establish himself as a consistent front-runner in strong fields. Jolly made three starts across his recorded career: two at the SKUSA SuperNationals in 2007 and 2008, and one in the Star Mazda Championship in 2008 driving for JDC Motorsports. He recorded no wins or podium finishes.[1]
Jolly's competitive record shows isolated results against stronger drivers but no sustained pattern of competitive pace. He finished ahead of drivers rated between 3,237 and 4,139 in individual races, including Caio Lara and Alan Rudolph, but these were single instances rather than head-to-head rivalries. His average finishing position across his three starts was P22, reflecting a career at the back end of the fields in which he competed. His sole Star Mazda start resulted in a P30 finish, his lowest classified result on record. Jolly's racing career proved brief, with no activity recorded after 2008, and he is now retired.
