🇩🇪 Dale Lomas

Dale Lomas is a retired competitive amateur who raced in German national endurance championships at the Nürburgring. He spent eight seasons in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass series mixing amateur and professional drivers, racing production-based and cup cars in shared-driver format. He also contested the Nürburgring 24 Hours, one of Europe's premier endurance events, in near-standard production machinery.[1]

Lomas won the 2017 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie championship, driving Car #533. Across his career he took 7 wins and 10 podiums from 23 starts between 2010 and 2022, with his most recent appearance a victory in the 2022 Nürburgring 24 Hours. The bulk of his racing came in the Langstrecken-Serie, where he scored 6 wins and 9 podiums across 21 starts; he finished ahead of the professional Silver-graded Patrick Assenheimer, a former SP 9 Pro class champion at the same track, and the professional Bronze-graded Célia Martin, who has raced in the World Endurance Championship and Asian Le Mans Series.[2]

Within the field Lomas regularly outpaced the club-level Ulf Wickop and ran closely matched against Manuel Amweg, an entry-level professional with 36 starts at the Langstrecken-Serie. His primary ride was Car #533, which won 15 races across the index and has fielded drivers including the professional Thomas Onslow-Cole.
