Michael Küke is a competitive amateur who raced shared-car endurance events at the Nürburgring. He competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie for Kremer Racing in 2011 and 2012, driving modified production-based race cars in the SP 5 and SP 7 classes, and made a single appearance in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2021.[1]
Across ten starts in multiclass endurance racing, Küke took four podiums. His most consistent period came in the Langstrecken-Serie, where he scored three podiums in nine starts; he added one more on his final racing appearance, a podium finish in the 24-hour event a decade later.[2]
Küke raced in fields mixing amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals on the same track. His regular opponents in the Langstrecken-Serie, Michael Heimrich and Andreas Ziegler, were both entry-level professionals with Bronze grades, and he ran closely matched against both. He finished ahead of an established professional from the touring car ranks and a Bronze-graded professional with extensive Nürburgring endurance experience.
