Dan Mastin competed in American Endurance Racing in 2024 with a rating of 1,106, placing him at the developing level; this represents a driver early in their competitive career with limited racing experience and results primarily at the entry end of professional competition. Mastin made three starts in the series, accumulating two podium finishes and an average finishing position of third, demonstrating competitive speed in limited exposure. His most recent activity was the 2024 American Endurance Racing season, where he finished P31 in the overall standings.[1]

Mastin's podium results came against a field that included established semi-professional drivers. His rivals included David Gausman and Brett Cleer, both multiple American Endurance Racing class champions, as well as Kevin Aberant and Nolan Ruocco; across his three shared races with these competitors, Mastin finished ahead of them once each against Gausman and Cleer, though he trailed both drivers twice.
