He raced a Mazda MX-5 Miata in the Spec Miata class, one of fifteen classes in the NASA multiclass national championship, which mixes amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals on the same track. Davoudian made three starts in 2021 and finished 131st in the season standings.[1]
His record places him among the slower finishers in a field that included entry-level professionals; he typically finished behind both Clayton Ketcher and Clayton Williams, regular opponents who brought significantly more experience to the grid. Davoudian did finish ahead of Williams once and beat Jared Korth, an entry-level professional with extensive national club and regional single-seater racing, in one race. His competitive record was confined to that single three-race season before his retirement from indexed competition.[2]
