Derek Levine is a developing driver racing in NASA's Spec Miata class, a single-driver national amateur and semi-professional championship run in the United States. He competes in the Mazda MX-5 Miata spec series, where he has been active since 2024.[1]

Levine has taken three podiums across 53 starts in his indexed career. His 2024 season included a brief two-start stint in American Endurance Racing's multiclass championship, where he shared a production-based car in Class 1; the remainder of his record comes from NASA's Spec Miata class, where he has raced 51 times. He currently sits 52nd in the 2026 NASA championship standings with one podium from 14 rounds raced so far this season.[2]

In his most frequent racing, Levine typically finishes behind regular opponents including semi-professional Daniel Reinhart and club-level racer Eric Antich. He has beaten entry-level professional Pete McIntosh once and semi-professional Christian Sarnecki, who has extensive SCCA experience, twice.
