Dillon Newell was a club-level racing driver competing in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series. His 2019 season, the only year on record, consisted of twelve starts without a win or podium finish. He averaged a seventh-place finish across classified races and ended the season in thirteenth position in the championship standings.[1]
Newell raced against a competitive field that included Michael Myers, the 2019 series champion, and Jackson Lee, an FIA Silver-graded driver. Against Myers, Newell finished ahead in two races but trailed him in ten shared races across the season. His record against Lee, who holds an FIA Silver rating, was similarly weighted in Lee's favour, with Newell ahead twice and behind seven times in nine meetings. His most consistent head-to-head advantage came against David Morales, against whom he finished ahead six times to three losses. These results position Newell as a developing competitor within a field of semi-professional and professional drivers.
Newell has since retired from active competition.
