Daniel Moreno competed in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series in 2019, his only season on record. He finished with a Racer Rating of 2,353, placing him in the competitive amateur band; this represents a driver quick enough to race regularly against professionals and semi-professionals but not yet established at that level. Across six starts, Moreno scored two wins and three podium finishes, an average finishing position of P5.3.[1]

Moreno's competitive record shows him holding an even head-to-head against drivers of mixed calibre. He finished ahead of Jackson Lee, an FIA Silver graded professional, in three of their six encounters, though Lee also beat him three times. Against David Morales, a semi-professional, Moreno was considerably more dominant, finishing ahead in five of six races. He traded results evenly with Prescott Campbell and Michael Myers, the 2019 series champion, finishing ahead of each three times and behind three times. His record against lower-ranked rivals Jack Dorsey and Nathaniel Sintros was more favorable, though not decisive.[2]

Moreno has since retired from racing competition. His single season produced results consistent with a competitive amateur driver capable of occasional wins in mixed fields, but the brevity of his record and his retirement leave limited evidence of where a longer career might have taken him.
