Kittelmann was a competitive amateur racing in national multiclass endurance championships at the Nürburgring. He drove for Team Mathol Racing e.V. across 11 seasons from 2010 to 2021, racing GT4 cars in the SP 10 class and modified production machinery in the SP 3 and SP 3T classes of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, and a Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport in the CUP 3 class at the Nürburgring 24 Hours.[1]
Over 35 starts in the Langstrecken-Serie, Kittelmann took one win and twelve podiums, winning the 2019 championship. He was closely matched with fellow competitive amateur Matthias Wasel but typically finished behind semi-professional Hermann Bock, who had raced extensively across the national and international endurance calendar. Kittelmann finished ahead of professional drivers Benjamin Leuchter, a 2017 Langstrecken-Serie TCR champion with 33 starts in the series and 29 in the FIA World Touring Car Cup, twice, and Andreas Gülden, a two-time Langstrecken-Serie TCR champion and later winner of the SP 10 class championship, twice.[2]
