Erik Slooten Jan is a professional endurance racing driver who competed in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, a multiclass endurance championship run over a single race at the Nürburgring. He made three starts between 2021 and 2024, driving Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars in the Cup 2 class and GT3 machinery in the SP 9 class, sharing the car with co-drivers across the four-day race. He has since retired from competition.[1]
Across his three starts, Slooten Jan finished ahead of established professionals including Patric Niederhauser, a Platinum-graded driver with extensive experience in GT World Challenge Europe and GP3, and Josh Burdon, who has raced in IMSA's top-tier series.
