Oliver Stewart is an entry-level professional competing in single-class sprint championships in the United Kingdom. He raced British F4 for Hitech Grand Prix in 2022 and GB3 for Elite Motorsport in 2023, piloting single-seaters in fields that mixed amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers.[1]
Stewart took a win in each of his two seasons on record. His British F4 campaign yielded 29 starts with one victory and one podium finish; he moved to GB3 in 2023 and secured one win in 20 rounds, finishing 13th in the championship standings. His podium finishes were limited to one in each series despite competing regularly; he accumulated two wins and two podiums from 49 starts across both.[2]
He raced alongside the 2022 British F4 champion Alex Dunne in both series; he finished behind Dunne more often than ahead of him, but took wins that Dunne did not in their shared seasons. Stewart also beat Ugo Ugochukwu, a driver with Formula 3 experience, on multiple occasions. Against semi-professional regular Daniel Mavlyutov, who appeared throughout both championships alongside him, Stewart typically came out ahead. The calibre of the field, including a British F4 champion and multiple drivers with experience in higher categories, placed his wins in a competitive context; his low podium count relative to his win total reflects his position outside the consistent front-runners in each championship.
