Federico Braga Carlos was a club-level driver racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship in which cars are shared between two or more drivers per race. He raced for Manheller Racing in BMW one-make cup and turbocharged production machinery across three starts between 2018 and 2022.[1]
Braga Carlos made three starts in the series across four seasons and finished 22nd in the 2022 championship standings in his final season of racing. His sole indexed outing against established competition came when he finished ahead of Hans Wehrmann, an entry-level professional with 28 starts in the same series, though his appearances were sparse enough that this remains the only occasion his record shows him beating a driver of note.[2]
He raced in a field mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals, most notably facing Mirko Bortolotti, now a 2024 DTM champion and FIA Platinum-graded professional with significant experience in international GT and endurance racing, though Braga Carlos did not finish ahead of him.
