Frank Tiano is a club-level racing driver, rated 1,275, competing primarily in American Endurance Racing between 2020 and 2024. This rating places him in the developing to club band, the entry level of competitive motorsport where drivers race against each other in relatively even fields rather than against established professionals. Over five seasons he started 30 races, winning 4 and finishing on the podium 14 times, with an average finishing position of fourth; he has now retired from racing.[1]

Tiano's record shows modest success within his own field. He was most competitive in 2024, his final season, when he took two wins and three podiums across three rounds. Against his most frequent rivals, he compiled losing head-to-head records; he finished behind Alex Rubenstein, a three-time American Endurance Racing Class 4 champion two rating bands above him, in seven of nine shared races, and was outscored by Kenneth Rutyna and Michael Koepke, both near his own level. He finished ahead of John Ryan Lewis, a two-time American Endurance Racing Class 3 champion, in six of seven meetings. Notably, Tiano twice beat Johan Schwartz, a Bronze-graded professional nearly two rating bands stronger, and once defeated Luca Mars, an FIA Silver professional and 2024 champion in his class; these results represent isolated strong performances rather than a pattern of competing at that level.
