Jagger Jones is a semi-professional racing driver whose career has centered on North American sportscar and feeder-series racing. His Racer Rating of 3,019 places him among semi-professionals; he wins regularly in one-make and pro-am classes but has not sustained success against the full-time professional field. Jones holds the FIA Silver categorisation, which designates him as a professional-level driver within GT and endurance racing, typically early in his career at that level.[1]

Jones has raced across seven seasons since 2015, accumulating 44 starts and eight wins, almost all from the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge where he scored eight victories in 17 starts for FastMD with Remstar between 2023 and 2026. His average finishing position of P8.6 reflects consistent mid-field performance. In open-wheel feeder series, however, his record is markedly weaker. He contested twelve races in Indy NXT across 2023 and 2024 without a win, finishing against a field that included national-level professionals such as Louis Foster, a two-time Indy NXT champion and Indy Pro 2000 champion, and Kyffin Simpson, 2021 Formula Regional Americas champion. Against Foster specifically, Jones finished ahead once in twelve races; he lost his head-to-head records against both Jacob Abel and Jamie Chadwick, three-time W Series champion, by similar margins. His seven starts in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup yielded one podium.[2]

Jones has occasionally outrun drivers of considerably higher standing within closed-door IMSA events; he beat Franco Colapinto, an FIA Platinum-graded driver at the elite professional level, twice, and also finished ahead of Earl Bamber, the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech GTLM champion. These isolated victories illustrate the complexity of shared-class endurance racing but do not establish a pattern. Jones remains active in 2025, competing in both the Mazda MX-5 Cup and GT4 America, where he is pursuing development at the professional sportscar level.
